'Winter on a Farm'
The following devotional poem was penned during a month-long retreat in solitude and silence...
Sun shines
breathe deeply
even overcast
is brilliant Here
you are beautiful
you are generous
do you see that?
well, it is true -
see what I see
you have fought
so many battles - courageous son -
rest, now, soak in
this moment of Grace
rippling like
a River moving over you
making love for you
again, now
what is your reply?
Light shimmers
breathe deeply
yes, smile while you
drink sweet Wine from
this intoxicating vat of Life
remember
I love you
trust
relax
be with all this - Me
